JIAS Canada
I have been asked to write a letter of reference on behalf of STUFF CANADA. It is my pleasure to do so. Jewish Immigrant Aid Services of Canada (JIAS), is this country’s oldest immigrant settlement
agency, having been in existence as a chartered entity since 1922.
JIAS clients have had the good fortune of benefiting from the good works of STUFF CANADA for the past 6 years. We have obtained generous donations of household items, furniture, office furniture,
office equipment, clothing and children’s wear through this group. Most recently we were able to obtain 314 pair of new shoes that were distributed free of charge to needy customers in our community.
Whenever JIAS has identified a charitable need, such as clothing or furniture, it calls on this group and has yet to be disappointed. They are hardworking, honorable, and trustworthy in all of their
endeavors.
I have no hesitation at all in recommending STUFF CANADA to any other charitable organization or group. They make a significant contribution to building the capacity of individuals and groups to learn
how to look after themselves.
